Welcome to Litchfield Hills Wine Market

We are located in beautiful Litchfield, Connecticut in the northwest corner of the state. We specialize in wine with more than 700 individually selected labels from around the world. We also have a full complement of spirits, domestic and imported beer, and craft brews. You’ll also find stylish accessories and gifts.

Litchfield Hills Wine Market opened in September, 2010. Our wonderful staff is here to serve you seven days a week: Monday - Saturday 10 am - 7 pm and Sunday 11 am - 5 pm. We're happy to place special orders if you need something we don't have in stock! 

We are once again open to the public.  We ask you wear a mask if you are not conpletely vaccinated.  Thanks for your patience and patronage.

For more than 62 years, she has sourced some of the finest wines from the far reaches of Romania, Transylvania, and Hungary.  We are so happy to tell you that Mary is joining us full time after her lengthy leave of absence and a quick 4 week holiday.  Please send postcards to her attention at the Wine Market.


On-Site Therapist / Sommelier

Duties include giving unconditional love, performing carpet sprints, convincing staff I haven't yet had a cookie today. Favorite pastimes: chipmunk chase, trail blazing, a good long couch nap. Favorite wine (that pairs with bacon) a big brawny Gigondas!
